Two scientific articles prepared as part of studies in the fields of sustainability, renewable energy, and green logistics have been published. The studies address applications related to the use of solar energy in warehouses and the use of alternative fuels in heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
The article titled “Sustainable Warehousing: Selecting the Best Warehouse for Solar Transformation” was published in the Alphanumeric Journal on June 30, 2020.
The study focuses on the selection of suitable locations and regions for the installation of solar power systems (GES) on warehouse rooftops. It examines an approach for selecting suitable warehouses and regions based on various criteria to enable warehouses to benefit from solar energy.
The article titled “Heavy-Duty Vehicle Selection by Using AHP and TOPSIS Methods: The Green Logistics Perspective” was published in the Prizren Journal in August 2026.
The study addresses vehicle selection within the scope of green logistics by comparing dual-fuel trucks and tractor units using a combination of natural gas and diesel, as well as vehicles powered by diesel and natural gas. The research evaluates the potential contribution of dual-fuel vehicles to reducing carbon emissions and lowering logistics costs.
The presence and periodic use of natural gas–diesel dual-fuel vehicles within the fleet represent the practical application of the subject examined in the study.
These two studies demonstrate the academic dimension of ongoing efforts in sustainable warehousing, renewable energy, and green logistics.
